read more about Jenny...

Jenny's experience with helping others began at the young age of twelve when her grandmother came to live with her and her family after becoming a quadripilegic in a devastating car accident. Jenny learned first hand the challenges her parents faced trying to meet her grandmother's needs. At the time her parents didn't know about in-home care and bravely did all they could to care for her on their own. After some time of struggling with the day-to-day demands the burden became too much for the young family. They reluctantly put her in a rest home. Jenny and her family visited often and did all they could to continue to care for her and love her.

While her grandmother lived in the rest home Jenny personally cared for her during trips away from the rest home on holidays and vacations. Jenny learned a great deal about caring for the disabled through these experiences. She developed a strong desire to continue helping others after her grandmother died eight years later.

After this experience Jenny decided to dedicate her career to caring for others and help families in similar circumstances keep their loved one at home while still providing them with the care they need. Jenny has helped those that are handicapped, disabled, elderly in rest homes, hospitals and rehab centers. She has a deep love for those that need the extra love and help. She enjoys listening to their stories and life and being their friend along the way.

our story...

Home Comfort Care was founded in 2007 when Jenny Olds decided to fulfill her dream of helping others who couldn't help themselves by providing in-home care and cleaning services.

Jenny started Home Comfort Care after she helped care for her own grandmother who became a quadripilegic after a devastating car accident. (Read the full story on the column to the right.) She developed a deep love for those that need extra love and help and screens and hires employees who share that same love. Our employees are exceptional. We hire only the best caring and qualified individuals. We do background and drug screens to assure the best service available. We are licensed with the state and insured and bonded. Each employee is extensively trained to offer the best service possible.

We started the cleaning side of our business when new clients started asking if we could just come and clean their home after hearing the excellent cleaning job we did for a disabled client. We couldn't refuse! We now offer a variety of cleaning services to anyone with a dirty house or business!

Over the past five years Home Comfort Care has grown to over 30 employees and over 80 clients across both divisions of the company. Although we've grown, the personalized care and attention to detail has remained the same.
